Hiking Groups for Ladies Seeking Adventure

The past few years I have been a part of different hiking groups all of the United States. This has been my inspiration for many blog post and hikes that we have set out on. From people finishing the Triple Crown (Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and Continental Divide Trail), to people looking for day hikes in their area, they cover all types of outdoors activities. I gathered a list of Hiking Groups in Virginia for those outdoors lovers to follow and get inspired!

Hike it Baby

Yay for babies and families getting outside and exploring! One of my all time favorite and most inspirational groups for getting me outside with Patrick is Hike it Baby. Hike it Baby is located all of the United States and abroad helping families to gather with others looking to explore as well. Hike it Baby host day hikes, group hikes and hiking challenges for your family. Located all over Virginia, many of the groups consist of successful thru hikers on different trails and some that even completed these with their little ones.

Check out Hike it Baby on Facebook and to find a Hike it Baby in your location and to learn more about their mission, click here.

Women Who Hike Virginia

Also located all over the United States, Women who Hike is a group to empower women to get out and adventure. The group is made for beginners looking for advice, seasoned hikers looking for advice on thru hiking and equipment, and those ladies looking for inspiration to start hiking. The group posts special locations all over Virginia for us ladies to wander out to and also post trail directions for popular hikes.

Backpacking Gear Flea Market for Women

If you're looking at adding to your hiking closet, but are on a budget, check out Backpacking Gear Flea Market for Women. Hiking gear can be extremely expensive, and if you're starting from scratch, this is a very affordable way to build up your gear. From hiking clothes, stoves, sleeping pads, packs and more, its the perfect place to find all backpacking.

Lucky for us ladies, there are a lot of groups out there to help us along our adventures. To search for groups in your area, search Facebook for "Women's Hiking Groups" or "Hike it Baby (your city)". These are great ways to find hiking buddies and new adventure friends!
